Preparing to use print@UCL Register your UCL ID card • Tap your UCL ID

Preparing to use print@UCL Register your UCL ID card • Tap your UCL ID card on the printer card reader and follow the instructions on the screen to authenticate your ID card • You only need to enter your username and password once • The next time you use any device, just tap your card on the card reader http: //www. ucl. ac. uk/isd/how-to/print-copy-scan/register-id-card

Preparing to use print@UCL Connect to a print queue: • Desktop@UCL and Sync&Share computers

Preparing to use print@UCL Connect to a print queue: • Desktop@UCL and Sync&Share computers are configured to use the single print-UCL queue • If you are using another computer you will need to add the print -UCL queue to your machine http: //www. ucl. ac. uk/isd/services/print-copy-scan/getting-started Note: For printers without card readers, the print queue will need to be configured for that printer.

Getting Started Printing Options • Send your document(s) to be printed as normal • Paper size, single/double sided, mono/colour options will affect the cost of your print job

Getting Started Home screen: • Tap your UCL ID card on the card reader

Getting Started Home screen: • Tap your UCL ID card on the card reader of printing device • Print, copy, scan and fax by selecting the relevant option on the home screen • Not all devices will have every option available

Getting Started • Use this option to photocopy documents • Place document(s) face up

Getting Started • Use this option to photocopy documents • Place document(s) face up on the document feeder • Set the output requirements for your document e. g. size, orientation, single/double sided • Select Start Copy to copy your document

Getting Started • Select the Pull Print option to access the job(s) you have sent for printing • Highlight the document you want to print • Set the number of copies to be printed • Select Print User Name, 3 Docs

Getting Started • If you sent multiple jobs, the most recent will be displayed
