PRINCE 2 Agile™ Course Outline WHAT IS PRINCE 2 AGILE™? PRINCE 2 Agile™ is the world’s most complete project management solution, combining the flexibility and responsiveness of Agile with the clearly defined framework of PRINCE 2®. This course provides a new extension module tailored forward-thinking organisations and individuals already benefiting from PRINCE 2® that would like further guidance on how to apply Agile methods to the world’s most recognised project management method. This course will help experienced PRINCE 2® practitioners tailor management controls for Agile development, while helping experienced Agile practitioners understand PRINCE 2® governance requirements. COURSE DESIGNED FOR: Currently you can only take the PRINCE 2 Agile™ Practitioner exam if you are currently a registered PRINCE 2® Practitioner. This means that you have either taken the PRINCE 2® Practitioner exam in the last 5 years or you have kept your registration up to date by taking the PRINCE 2® Practitioner re-registration exam. There is very little time spent on recapping over the content of PRINCE 2® and therefore out of date knowledge or gaps in understanding of PRINCE 2® will put the delegates at a disadvantage as PRINCE 2 Agile™ builds on the candidates existing PRINCE 2® knowledge. . PRE-REQUISITES: All delegates must have a valid PRINCE 2® Practitioner certificate in order to take the PRINCE 2 Agile™ Practitioner exam. Pre-course reading is recommended to enable a greater depth of understanding and added value from the course. Starting up a Project and Initiating a project Requirements and user stories Organisation Servant Leadership Principles and Behaviours The Agilometer and Risk Managing Product Delivery Quality (including the definition of “Done”) Controlling a Stage and Managing a Stage Boundary Directing a Project Closing a Project The PRINCE 2® Management Products Rich Communication Kanban and the Kanban Method Lean Start-up General Guidance (including project health check, transitioning, project managements hints and tips) PRINCE 2 Agile™ Practitioner Exam • • • • • DURATION AND EXAMS: The Practitioner course lasts three days with a two and half hour, open book exam in the afternoon on day three. The exam is an open book (PRINCE 2 Agile ™ manual only) objective testing Exam. There are 50 questions totalling 50 marks (1 mark per question). The pass mark is 60% (30 correct answers).
