Primrose Hill - New Build • Yorkshire Housing Group • 55 k. Wp on 31 new houses and 32 flats • 50 tonnes of CO 2 avoided
Benefits for fuel poverty • No cost ‘emergency’ cover • Minimal disruption during installation • Savings and making money i. e selling excess electricity • Power to the people and some impact on energy use • Eco Homes Standard, Part L Blding Regs
Renewables can be normal • Relatively few problems reported • Mostly a neutral response to the ‘look’ of PV • Roof integrated design helped increase social acceptance • Schools involvement • Jobs and skills • No interference with TV reception • New tenants’ awareness low
