Preterite of Regular Verbs

Preterite Verbs n Preterite means “past tense” n Preterite verbs deal with “completed past action” n The ending tells who did the action.

-AR Preterite Endings n Just as -o, -as, -amos, áis, -an tell you that the action takes place in the present, -é, -aste, -ó, -amos, asteis, -aron, tell you that the action took place in the past.
