Curriculum and Instructional Content • Students will work in a lab-type setting using LEGO® bricks with an integrated curriculum based on STEM models; • Students have a hands-on class designing and building machines, catapults, pyramids, vehicles, airplanes, buildings and other constructions using Bricks 4 Kidz proprietary LEGO® project kits; • Students needing more challenging projects are able to use computers for stop motion animation movie-making and other special projects, such as using robotics; • 1 -hour instructional content: includes a 3 -5 minute lesson on the model being built, along with concepts of friction, gravity and torque, scale, gears, axles and beams. Kids then work in pairs to build the model, followed by creative play.
Curriculum and Instructional Content • Part of the curriculum will include the construction of a scaled model of their elementary school; • The material covered in each session will vary depending on students’ ages, experience, and skill level. Bricks 4 Kidz ® Franchise Facts • Franchise Fee - $25, 900 • Royalty Fee – 7% subject to a $1, 500 minimum every 12 weeks. No minimum for first 12 weeks after execution of franchise agreement • Marketing Fee – 2% • Multiple Units Franchise Fee - $14, 000 per additional territory (initial territory $25, 900) • Territory is comprised of a minimum of 15 elementary & 3 middle schools (may be public and/or private) and/or 50, 000 – 100, 000 population
