PRESENTED AT POSTER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS Please use the following template to create your scientific poster. The template provides a layout that must be adhered to. All elements must be included as demonstrated in the template. Below are some tips and guidelines: 1. Title, author names, academic advisor, institution name. Add this information in the provided text boxes by clicking in the text box, deleting the placeholder copy and typing in the information. 2. Logo. There is a space provided in the top left corner where you may upload a logo. This may be the logo of the institution or lab with which you are associated. If you do not choose to add an institution logo, you must delete this gray box before saving your presentation as a PDF. 3. Content. The large grey box indicates the space where you should insert your content. You may format your content as you like. Common elements include introduction, methods and materials, results, discussion, conclusions, references, tables, graphics, charts and images. Please label elements appropriately (i. e. , Table 1, Table 2, Chart 1, Figure 2, etc. ) 4. Placeholders. The placeholders are for reference only. Feel free to move, edit, resize, delete or add content boxes to suit your purposes. 5. Slide color theme, style and layout. This is a template with built-in color theme, style and layout. Please do not change the background colors, layout or style of the slide except for elements added in the space provided to add your own content. 6. Save as a PDF. Once you have completed the design of your poster, save it as a PDF by clicking File > Save As > Select PDF > Save. 7. Submit. Refer to the directions on our website for submitting your poster.
