When compared to non -participants in the district, THINK participants' CST scores consistently grew at a higher rate over three years of programming in both ELA and Math. As the graphs indicate, there are larger gains seen in Math. 8

Considering ELA, THINK participants' grew in “percent at or above Proficient” at a comparable rate to the overall district. In Math, THINK participants showed a significant positive growth compared to the overall district. 9

THINK Together’s History in Fontana USD • Served 10 Fontana USD Schools- Spring of 2007 (as part of Prop 49 scale up), and ‘ 07 -’ 08 • Difficulty getting principal support- ½ supportive, ½ not • Difficulty getting support of Food Services • Difficulty getting paid • Did not get paid for more than one year • District conducted a forensic audit • Results: Clean Audit - THINK Together got paid in full less accounting fees 18
Moreno Valley Model • Three Way Collaboration between School Districts, THINK Together and City • In Mo. Val, City is fiscal agent – Here FUSD is fiscal agent • City subcontracted program operation/management to THINK Together • THINK Together hired City staff • Provided THINK Together Leadership, Structure, and Support Systems • City maintained involvement in sports tournaments, spelling bee, special reading programs • Improved program quality, strengthened student outcomes • Students and Families win, all partners happy, employee satisfaction high 19
