Internships at Novo Nordisk • Internships are relatively short-term in nature with the primary focus on getting some relevant work experience and taking the newest theoretical knowledge and perspectives from class room and applying it to the corporate world • Students participating in Novo Nordisk’s Internship Programme are students studying at their master degree at either their first or second year • Internships are an opportunity for students to gain some relevant work experience in a particular field – typically within their field of study

Internship facts • Full-time internship positions in Spring and Fall semesters • 50 -80 open internships per semester • Paid 8000 DKK per month • Only master students

Internship programme in dept 433 • We hire two interns yearly - one each semester • In dept 433, an intern is employed for 6 months • Allocated to a development project in one of the teams • Acts as Research Scientists, with the opportunity to take on the same type of tasks as everybody else • Tasks are gives so that they can be handled in a suitable way for the intern • An internship period starts with a 2 weeks introduction programme • All interns have a mentor (colleague) during the internship period
