Present Perfect(mixing past and present time) USE: Actions from the past that are finished –and events from your life – where no time is given: I’ve been to Paris. I’ve eaten sushi twice. (Note: use simple past if a time is given: I studied French in high school. I went to Paris in 2013. ) Things that aren’t finished: We’ve been in class for an hour. I’ve never ridden a horse.
