Preschool Philosophy Children are unique and diverse with individual strengths and needs. Each child's diversity is embraced and valued. High Quality early education programming and planning is vital to children's development and success. Learning through rich language and play opportunities as well as hands on experiences are crucial to children's development and growth. Dedicated Professionals help children reach their fullest potential by providing access to and facilitating a variety of learning opportunities.
Kyrene Integrated Prescho Program Kyrene preschool program is a fully integrated program servicing children ages 3 -5, not yet kindergarten eligible. Children who are typically developing and those with disabilities, or have developmental delays, learn together in a small group setting. Classes are instructed by a certified early childhood/special education teacher, a speech/language specialist and teaching assistants. Occupational therapists, physical therapists, and vision and hearing teachers work with the preschool teams to meet the needs of individual students. Classes are three hours in either a morning or afternoon session on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Community Preschool provides an environment that encourages and supports each child’s natural curiosity to explore their environment and experience learning through play-based activities. Implementing a whole child approach helps each child receive a personal learning experience that covers all areas of development. Program options are flexible to meet the varying schedule needs for families. Monday – Friday, 7: 00 AM – 6: 00 PM Full day and half day options available Before and/or after school options for children enrolled in the integrated preschool program classes
