Welcome! Sunnyvale’s goals for Pre-kindergarten students It is all about the family!
Calendar & Events Back to school nights: • Lakewood Program: 8/30 (6 -8 PM) • San Miguel/Fairwood Program: 8/31 (6 -8 PM) Conference week (Parent survey) - state pre • November 13 -17 th Health screenings (Healthier Kids Foundation) • 10/9: Hearing (All sites) • 10/10: Vision and Dental (All sites) Open House • May 9 th Fairwood • May 16 th Lakewood • May 23 rd San Miguel Quarterly Parent Meetings
Absences: Please call the office when your child is absent due to illness or any other event. It is important for us to communicate with you to excuse the absence. Please call our office 408 -522 -8213. Allergies/medication: Parents notify the office and your teacher if your child has any known allergy or has medications for Asthma or other condition. Sick: If your child is sick please keep them at home until they are better.

Curriculum OUR FOCUS is readiness! Social Emotional = 2 nd Steps Literacy/mathematics= Zoophonics and Let’s Play Learn Writing= Handwriting Without Tears. Play and exploration, social skills and curiosity.
