Main Theme Leverage on ingenuity and modern technology to help children with mental/physical disabilities. Give superpower to the children in need Conceptualize, Conceptualize design, design construct and deploy your very own creation from scratch and make tangible impact to society
Sub-Theme 1 Telekinesis: Telekinesis Moving things with your mind! Problem: Unable / hard to interact with physical objects / environment, e. g. switching on light, fan, calling for help, etc. Example: Possible directions: Eye Gazer with easy integration with phone apps. Wish List from the Frontline A bed for patients who need to have their body positions re-adjusted frequently 3 D printed customised hand splints for children who require positioning of the hand Making use devices with switch control on wheelchairs to interact with environment An app or device to help children who have difficulty focusing and prioritizing tasks Adaptive bicycles for children with poor sitting balance Weighing scales for children in wheelchair with built-in memory Small footprint hoist system to lift adolescents from bed to the wheelchairs
