Objectives • Parkland’s medical equipment needs are clearly, accurately, completely defined and coordinated at every facet of the supply chain. • Equipment design features and performance are optimized. • Clutter is minimized. • Design Phase Coordination ensure that medical equipment infrastructure requirements are addressed in the design. • Construction Phase Coordination addresses medical equipment “commissioning” requirements. Equipment is procured, tagged, set up, installed, deployed, and tracked. • There is full biomedical equipment integration with Electronic Medical Record systems. • Occupancy Phase. Training, maintenance, and reporting arrangements are addressed. • This engagement contributes a fair share toward meeting Parkland’s 25% MWBE goal.
