What does Pre-Production mean? • There are four meanings of pre-production. 1. Preparations are made for the shoot 2. Cast and film crew are hired 3. Locations are selected 4. Set are built
What is it important? • Timing: you got to have the perfect time to make your pre production. For example you to make sure that everybody knows where they’re suppose to be at the right date and time. • Team work-cooperation: you’re mostly going to need some help of other people to make this production. For example make sure everybody else knows what they’re and communicate to the liaise. • Brainstorm: you got to have some ideas to plan your pre production. For example you can use a mind map to think of many idea for the production.
What is completed during Pre-Production? • The few thing that get completed during the pre-production are designing, planning, production company, production office established, storyboarding, production budget set up, production schedule, shooting schedule, casting , locations, costumes sets and choreography.
What Job Roles are needed during this process? • Just like the production the job roles for pre production are almost the same. • For examples: • Writers • Directors • Art Directors • Sound Directors • Location Managers
