PREPOSITION • A preposition tells the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and another

PREPOSITION • A preposition tells the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and another word in a sentence. • A pad is under the carpet. (The preposition, under, tells where the pad is in relation to the carpet. ) • Our vacation was like a dream.

How to remember prepositions • A preposition is “Anywhere a mouse can go. ”

How to remember prepositions • A preposition is “Anywhere a mouse can go. ” • Think of a little mouse, scurrying around. It goes over, under, above, below, in, out, etc. • Remember, “Anywhere a mouse can go. ”
