1 - Create a positive work environment. 2 - Recognize and reward staff nurses when you see something good. 3 - Helping meet staff needs for achievement by challenging them to succeed. 4 - Show that you value your staff small things can give others a sense of recognition, value and worth. If a member of staff asks to talk to you, give them time and, If you can't do right away, give them a time when you can , and stop and listen actively. 5 - Show your own motivations and enthusiasm how you arrive at work, your facial expression and body language set the tone. 6 - Smile and greet staff nurses positively. You can create a more uplifting atmosphere if staff feels you are motivated too. 7 - Avoiding scolding in font of others or humiliating staff. 8 - Build trust and respect. �
