Course Entry Requirements Course Title Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision Entry Requirements Age 19 years or Over Candidates must have achieved ANY of the following qualifications or their RPL (recognised prior learning) equivalent. CPCAB L 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling or CPCAB L 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling or CPCAB L 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Skills and Theory Plus recommended min of 450 supervised client hours You are also required to supply an endorsement from your clinical supervisor 1. Please also check the Minimum Entry Requirements here 2. Proof of qualifications MUST be provided when you enrol, e. g. exam certificates. 3. Achieved and pending qualifications can be recorded in your online application account.

Course Content & Assessment Course Title Content CPCAB L 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision (TCSUL 6) Candidates must be Proficient in both Internal (tutor assessment of candidate portfolio – showing evidence of the assessment requirements verified by CPCAB and External assessment (case review – 3, 000 – 3, 500 words). How is this course assessed? Progression Personal learning Open University record, case studies, Foundation Degree in assignment, Counselling supervisor report and feedback from tutor and peers, Supervision work: minimum of 15 hrs with supervisees Supervisory supervision: minimum of 5 hrs
