Benefits of the cloud approach • No local server necessary – Just connect to the internet • Leasing of software and Orange. Box – Lower initial cost – Pay – as – you - go • Remote support – No training of operators – We do the monitoring • Continuous business potential • We do the monitoring – We learn what is good for you • Working together – Synergi

Grounding is used for • Protective grounding – Avoiding power shock accidents. • Removing of low frequency ”hum” – 50 Hz noise • In some countries 60 Hz – Ground loops • Removing high frequency noise – Introduced into the power network by variable speed motors etc. – Transmitter and radio noise • Anchoring a floating system – ”Floating systems” have a tendecny to float on AC voltage corresponding to half the power supply – Due to high frequency filter
Ground loops Monitor Coax Cable Sensor ~ EG ES EI ~ EG
Hig frequency filters on input may give half the suply voltage High frequency filter 230 V AC + 115 V AC if not grounded - Warning: • Orange box is only designed for ~28 V input • We often see that ICP get saturated by noise 23 V across input instead of 12 V -15 V

The Cloud software • DSDS – Diagnostic Studio Doctor Suite • Cloud = Browser based software • Allows people working together
DSDS Menu structure Default plots User settings Definition of Default plots groups Setup and raw data plot Definition of Kinemeatic cursor System Log See also Alarm setup Device View and alarm list Measurement ressource list Occational user defined ”advanced” plots
”Home” user interface • Default user interface – For measurement ressources • Set up via the Group concept • Double click to open group
Checking the Monitoring function
Setting up the system • Select / create ”ressource” (I. E. Measurement) from a list of pre-selected measurements • Setup the right parameters for data capture and spectrum frequency range (very few parameters) • Upload the new settings to the DSM • Create a group – Populate the group with measurement ”ressources” • Setup alarm limits • Setup kinematic cursors 1.

Building groups Building the HOME menu 2. Click on Edit 1. Select group 3. Select measurement ressource into group 4. Double click in Home tab To open group
Loop test function Simultaneous values on all channels A very strong function, and of course: Download in Excel format
Building Machines Symptom cursor • At the moment The Orange box device assign machines – Only one machine per DSM (this will be changed) – Machine info can be re-used • Create new machine – Assign to DSM • Define Tachos (Edit machine) – Give name – Fixed speed – Zero speed!! • Add symptoms to machine
Adding symptoms • • • Select machine Click on (+) Select component Fill in parameters Double click on machine to open components From Edit machine
Use of symptoms • On spectrum select Kinematic cursor • Select frequency • See frequencies on plot
Alarm setup • Ech alarm has a name
New alamrs must be pushed to DSM
