Who is it designed for? ■ Mona is designed for people of specific personality traits. ■ Those who want to be emotionally evoked, spark conversations and artistically educated. ■ Captivating digital graphics. ■ continuous updates on news and events in relation to the museum’s past, current and future endeavours. ■ Enjoying new discoveries, to “Love or Hate” evocative diverse modern art and antiquities.

What knowledge does it assume of the target audience? ■ What you need to know and/or have before you dare click onto the MONA website: • A standard literacy reading level • Enjoyment of cultured and artistic works • Location based is Tasmania • Constant change of exhibitions • Controversial, Explicit and Insane/Sane Artworks (depending your opinion).

Describe the type of user interactions, and the user interface. ■ Captures attention instantly. ■ Demonstrates the presence and engagement with the audience. ■ Impacting and meaningful use of illustrations and imagery on the foundations of the website. ■ For Example. The Home Page and all the pages linked within the Menu tab. ■ Highlighting ‘selected’ / ‘hovering’ areas in a boldly defined contrasting colour. ■ Provides a variation between the central dropdown menu and others within the pages ■ Subcategories within the main pages are designed through the use of an image gallery or a simple arrangement of dividers. ■ For Example. • The “Museum” page uses an image gallery in order for viewers to create a visual image within their minds of what Mona appears to hold. • The “Visit” page has three subcategories which are each spread out onto a single page using the dividers, in order to show that, that information intrinsically links together and cannot accurately engage with viewers without all three.

What can you say about the visual design- layout, colour, and typography? How would you describe the style? ■ “A representation of the tip of the proverbial iceberg…” ■ High quality full colour photographs ■ Sans serif typography ■ A minimalistic style of a black and white graphics ■ Detailed site layout. ■ An amazing quantity of knowledge on the museum itself and the modern artworks & antiquities it exhibits.

What improvements would you suggest? ■ Therefore, it can be concluded that there is little to no need for improvements, needed for the MONA website and its digital interactivity.
