Benjamin’s very proud grandparents are Will and Sarah Cook of Cherokee, Kenny and Melanie Petersen of Correctionville, and Denny and Jan Wieland of Aurelia.

• EASTER LILIES • I am now taking orders for Easter lilies from Blooming House. You may purchase lilies in honor of or in memory of loved ones. The cost for each Easter lily is $15. 50, and they may be taken home on Easter by those who purchased them. If you’d like to order an Easter lily, please make a notation on the attendance sheet, send an email to meribethadams@outlook. com, or call the office at 225 -3955. The last day to order Easter lilies will be Wednesday, April 1 st.

• SERMONS ALA CARTE • Sermons Ala Carte is now being held at the Memorial Presbyterian Church on Wednesdays from 12: 05 to 12: 30. Lunch follows in the dining hall. Pastor Andrew Mahoney, of the Meriden Evangelical Free Church, will be speaking on March 18 th.

• KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FISH FRY DINNER • The Knights of Columbus will have their 2 nd fish fry dinner of this season on Friday, March 20 th, from 4 -7 p. m. at the Cherokee Golf Course. The cost for an adult dinner is $10. 00, and a child’s dinner is $7. 00. Shrimp is available for an additional charge.

• LORD’S PORTION AUCTION IN HOLSTEIN • The Holstein United Methodist Church’s annual Lord’s Portion Auction will be held Saturday, March 21 st. Taverns, hot dogs, and pie will be served from 11: 00 a. m. to 1: 00 p. m. with a free will donation being taken. The auction begins at 1: 00 p. m. There will be a wonderful assortment of things to bid on including baked goods, crafts, lawn mowing, oil changes, and many other items. Make plans to attend this great day of fellowship and fun!
