HABITAT MISSION
MISSION Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our mission is to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AFFILIATES Habitat’s work is accomplished at the community level by affiliates — independent, locally run, nonprofit organizations. Local affiliates are responsible for: § Land/rehab acquisition § Partner family selection and support § House construction/rehab § Mortgage lending and servicing § Fundraising § Tithing – donating 10% of unrestricted funds
