St. Francis de Sales 3 Steps to Unceasing Prayer ASK: God to be present with and attentive to you; this is more of an intentional act on our part, acknowledging that we are ready to be attentive back to God who is always with us (“omnipresent”) (SACRAMENT = a sacred sign which is a channel of grace; the “sacrament of the present moment”) OFFER: What you are doing or what is going on in that particular moment up to God (SACRIFICE = a gift or offering) ACCEPT: Resolve to accept whatever comes out of this particular moment/time with God (SURRENDER = submission to God’s Will)
