Pratt Area Council’s Supportive Living Facility
Gibbs Mansion The mansion houses low-income individuals, people with chronic diseases and persons without homes. Within the mansion, there are small studio apartments for residents as well as a library and a gym. Staff includes social workers, an art therapist and even an acupuncturist.

Supportive Housing • On-site social services help residents achieve their goals through employment, educational and vocational training, healthcare and counseling. • Supportive housing is permanent, affordable housing with on-site support services to serve the needs of the most vulnerable New Yorkers, • Each tenant signs a lease and must comply with the terms of that lease. Apartments are rent-stabilized.
Supportive Prices Supportive housing is less expensive than high-cost crisis care and emergency systems • $1, 185 per day to house a homeless individual in a hospital • $467 in a psychiatric hospital • $54 in a shelter • Only costs $42 per day in supportive housing.
