Practical Cookery Big Breakfast Challenge!
Learning Outcomes: • • practise my cookery skills at home create and cook my own breakfast Identify local/and or seasonal foods understand where/how these foods should be safely stored. I can: • Create, plan and cook a tasty breakfast at home using local/seasonal foods
Plan what you are going to make. A good cook is organised and has a plan of what they are going to make. • Use the foods that are available to you to create your own breakfast. • You can take photographs/videos of each stage of you making it or take a photo of the finished breakfast. Be creative! • Write down the ingredients that you used. • Identify the local/seasonal ingredients. • Identify where/how the ingredients need to be stored safely. • Submit this via TEAMs or email.
Example: Ayrshire bacon – local Tomato – local Mushrooms – local Pork sausages – local Fried egg – local Black pudding – local Toast – local Beans - local *These ingredients are produced/farmed either in the local area (Ayrshire/Scotland/Britain) None of these foods are have to be shipped in from abroad! Check the labels on your food, if you can, f you are unsure. Your picture could be uploaded onto a word document or Powerpoint. If you can’t do this then simply attach it to an email with a message.
