Recent FESHM Updates FESHM Chapter 6014 – Fire Watch • Updated Introduction, added definitions and added Section Table Matrix under Section 4. 0 to provide guidance on when fire watch is required. FESHM Chapter 4120 – Occupational Ergonomics Program • Revision 3. Editorial and definition updates. Added working from home guidance and reminders (Appendix 1). Adjusted general contact expectations to reflect industrial hygiene group inclusion. QAM Chapter 12003 – Fermilab Software Quality Assurance Program • Update links and references. Change in Training Due Dates • In early March, there was a change made to the method used to calculate training due dates. • In the past, any training class that has a requalification requirement expired at the end of the month in which an individual completed the last class, plus the training requalification period. • Completed Jan. 12, 2019 Due Jan. 31, 2021, for a course with a 2 -year requalification period • Now, the due date will be the date of an individual’s last class, plus the training requalification period: • Completed Jan. 12, 2019 - Due Jan. 12, 2021, for a course with a 2 -year requalification period • Reminder emails from the TRAIN database will still be sent 30 before the due date so personnel have time to update their training. However, when the change in TRAIN was made, depending on when an individual’s classes were taken previously, the change may have resulted an email reminder going out < 30 days before the training was due.
