Step 1: Get copies of your AU transcript and transcripts for all other schools attended.
Step 2: Calculate the total GPA hours and total quality points listed on all of the transfer transcripts. Example: Southern Union (10 hours/37 points) + USA (14 hours/56 points) = 24 hours/93 points
Step 3: Compare this total to what is listed on the AU transcript (page 2) under AU Transcript Totals (Undergraduate) after the Total Transfer label.
Step 4: Do they match? If yes, proceed. If not, have you forgotten to have a transfer transcript sent to AU?
Step 5: Add total institution and transfer GPA hours. Add total institution and transfer quality points. Divide the quality points by the GPA hours to calculate your Undergraduate GPA.
Step 6: Compare this Undergraduate GPA, calculated on your AU transcript, with the on your PPAC GPA Worksheet. Do they match?
Step 7: Add BCPM points and All Other points on your PPAC GPA Worksheet. Does this total match the total shown on the AU transcript for points?
Step 8: Add BCPM hours and All Other hours on your PPAC GPA Worksheet. Does this total match the total shown on the AU transcript for hours?
Step 9: Divide BCPM points by BCPM hours on your PPAC GPA Worksheet. This is the BCPM GPA.
Step 6: Divide All Other points by All Other hours on your PPAC GPA Worksheet. This is the All Other GPA.
Check the formatting of the GPA Worksheet.
Step 1: Are all courses with grades of S, U, W, P, Exempt, including advanced placement (AP) and international baccalaureate (IB) etc. , shown at the top of the worksheet?
Step 2: Are the transfer course IDs, course titles grades, hours and points listed as shown on the transfer transcripts?
Step 3: Are the course IDs, course titles, grades, hours and points centered under the headings?
Step 4: Are the GPAs rounded to two decimal points?
Step 5: Is the worksheet printed using landscape orientation? Can the font, margins or rows be adjusted so the worksheet will fit on a single page?
