V for RB and 1 k. V for RQs, since the PC is disconnected o Cables disconnected on DFB side and PC negative polarity Disconn. Sectioning of the RB circuit for EE HV test. Similar configuration for RQs with only even side. Disconn. § § § Tests have been successfully completed in: o R 34, RR 57, UA 63, UA 67, RR 73, RR 77, UA 83, UA 87, RR 13, RR 17, UA 23 Tests have been completed, but without good results due to missing water circulation: o R 37, UA 43, UA 47, RR 53 Tests not yet done of failed: o UA 27 was repeated with good water flow, but failed with a resistance of 30 kohm; inspection on bus bars (disconnected from switches) has shown no contact to ground 12/31/2021 Mirko Pojer – BE/OP 5

QPS readiness § The installation of radiation tolerant detection systems for 600 A circuits has been completed wherever foreseen (point 1, 5 and 7) § Upgrade of the firmware for the DAMGS crate controller has been completed everywhere § The replacement of the Undulators detection system with new radhard boards has been as well completed, plus upgrade of the corresponding current sensors performed by EE team (replacement of LEMs by DCCTs) § Fresh news: o o Interlocks for updated 600 A protection systems in RR 53 successfully tested (84 interlocks) Interlocks for updated 600 A protection systems RU. II § Resources and shifts are defined o o o § How it translates for the coming days: o o § OP – 3 x 8 h MP 3 – 3 x 8 h 2 p/shift during day time, 1 p/shift at night EPC – 2 x 8 h (7: 00 -23: 00) + 1 shift on call PIC – 1 extended shift Acc_Testing experts – coverage in CCC during the day and piquet for the rest Today early testing for debugging from ~17 till ~19 in S 45; will do at least a test per circuit (priority 600 A!!!) – no shifts, but would be helpful to have some experts to call Friday, start of tests at 17 – start of the shifts; no night! Sat 05/Sun 06 – no night! From Mon 06/03, 3 shift a day Tunnel accesses (exclusively related to powering) will be during the normal working hours 12/31/2021 Mirko Pojer – BE/OP 14
