Update • Our first class started in March 2016 • We graduated three classes in 2016 of 11, 19, and 19. • To date, we have 5 students who have not responded to our inquiries. • The rest are all working in the industry • 4 former students compete in last weeks Gaff-N-Go Rodeo • Will Jordan from REC won the Hurt-Man Event

Progress Our first class of 2017 (19 -1) began on 2/27 and ended on 5/11 So far we have 66 graduates of our program The next class begins on 6/19 and 9/11 This current group is the first to take advantage of our housing facilities at $15 per night! • We have received funding and will soon hire a career coach who will help with student follow-up, community outreach, and employer relations. • • • In a very exciting development, I have been working with Jimmy Nettles from the VMDAEC on an articulation agreement for your apprentice training.
