It can involve persuasion, cooperation and role modelling. • People who use influence – teachers, parents, older kids/students, relatives and a lot more. • The picture shows someone trying to get others to do something they want.
Force • Force is when you use physical action or use threats to get your way. If you say mean things to others or use physical action (example- kicking, pushing, hitting etc. ) then you are using force. This can usually end up with someone getting hurt. • People who use force – bully's, gangs, military’s and some others too. • These pictures are of people bullying. • Bullying uses force.
Authority • Authority is when you are given the right to exercise power and influence others. He uses authority.
The quality’s of a leader. • Passionate- If you are a leader, you should be passionate about your work, be excited, energetic and motivate others. • Decisive – You should be able to make the right decisions at the right time. • Collaborate with others – Good leaders have a strong team, and work with other people to achieve their goals. • Respectful – You should set a good example of respect to others. If you have the respect of others then you should show respect for them.
More qualities of a leader • Personal Qualities – Good leaders have many more good qualities then just having good leader qualities. You could have honesty, fairness, humour etc. • Good Character – People are more likely to like you, if you have an interesting and energetic personality. Good leaders often have charisma (this means they are enthusiastic, inspiring or charming, and they have a way of getting people’s attention).
