We use possessive adjectives to tell what belongs to someone or to show relationships.

We use possessive adjectives to tell what belongs to someone or to show relationships. If the noun is plural then, the possessive adjective will be plural. If the noun is singular then, the possessive adjective will be singular Ej: mi libro – my book (sing. ) mis libros – my books (pl. ) Ej: our school – nuestra escuela (It's nuestra instead of nuestro because escuela is a fem. word) (escuela ends in an –a and it's sing. ) Ej: our gifts – nuestros regalos ( It's nuestros instead of nuestras because regalos is a masc. word) (regalos ends in an –o and it's pl. ) Ej: your book – tu libro (sing. ) Ej: their books – sus libros (pl. ) Ej: his/her book – su libro (sing. )
