My Symbolism: Rainbow As the rain stopped The sun Was then coming through the clouds You could see a start of a rainbow With its many bright colors As it spread across the horizon We were reminded of its beauty But were also reminded of the greater meaning of a rainbow And gods wonderful l promise that he gave us
My Alliteration: adorable ants ate Annie's apple beautiful bumble bees bug Bug’s Bunny crazy cats crumble Carries cake dancing dogs drink Dr. Depper excellent elephants eating eggs fabulous frogs freeze firmly grasping giraffes go green helping hippos help Hippie ignorant insects inspect Ivy jumping jaguar jive jello
My Imagery: Horse Black Four long strong legs Runny through the long green grass Purple wild flowers Blowing in the wind The sun going down in the horizon Blue cool stream Going down the Big mountain
Simile: - a comparison of nouns using the words like or as - example: the baby dolphin was like a young child
My Simile: ~Dolphins~ Dolphins dive through the ocean water like a wedge wwwiiiissssshhhhh wwwaaassshhhh goes the water quickly swim after their prey, rainbow fish which are a colorful as a rainbow Chasing after there lunch the dolphins are having a blast it is like a game The rainbow fish dash on way the dolphin follows trying to not let it go After all struggle the rainbow fish gives up and the dolphins gets it dinner So now the dolphin is filled with a great meal Yumyumyumyum!!!!!! The dolphin now is going on and having great fun!! The dolphins spins in the air whistles in the water as the day leaves

Personification: • Is a poem when relating some object to people characteristics • Example: the little goat was going crazy like the child on the playground
my personification: *Weather* Rain, snow, hail, sleet, sunshine, tornado, and thunder Happy weather, sad weather, moody weather Weather is like humans can be all different moods When it is rainy people get miserable Puddles all over Splish, splash, splish, splash When it is sunny people happy and like to enjoy the happy weather When there are tornadoes people are scared From what will happen in the end Destroyed houses, messy city
Repetition: Using words in a poem and using them more than once Example: inside my heart is love inside my heart are feelings

My Onomatopoeia: Morning Breakfasts Clink clank went the dishes on the table Splish Splash Went the juice in the cup Click As she put the spoon on the table Whish Went the cereal as it went in the bowl Snap Crackle Pop Went the rice krispies in the cereal bowl As the little girl ate her breakfast
Paradox: A statement that seem impossible but then makes sense, 2 opposite words being compared example: Dark and light Dark remembers light, The day they separated, They try to be friends, but can't. Dark doesn't like light Their friendship no longer exists
My Paradox: Hard likes Soft delicious looking The red candy Hard sweet Then dissolves in mouth Turns soft, tangy, chewy, tart taffy Changes emotions from being miserable to Excitement Soft candy
Metaphor: Using to nouns comparing or contrasting each other not using the words like or as Example: I am a rainbow

Symbolism- the subject stands for something else that has a greater meaning Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth. Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same. And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Mood: -a poem that describes the peoples feelings Lucky I'm in a lucky mood. Not I just-hit-the-jackpot lucky Not I just-won-the-lottery lucky Not lucky like Ed Mc. Mahan shows up at my door with a check in my name for 10 million dollars But I'm fortunate - lucky Lucky that I have a job I enjoy Lucky that I have a wonderful family Lucky to be ME and FREE !!!
My Mood: Happy There are many emotions in life And happy is a very good character to act like, enjoy and fun to be around when people are in that mood Smile 72 muscles to frown and 14 to smile It is better for yourself to smile Life is to short to not use all your joy and happiness Don’t worry be happy!!!!!: D
