PNEMATICS SHEET CUTTING MACHINE
ABSTRACT The sheet metal cutting process is a main part of the all industries. Normally the sheet metal cutting machine is manually hand operated one for medium and small scale industries. Automation in the modern world is inevitable. Any automatic machine aimed at the economical use of man, machine, and material worth the most. The sheet metal cutting machine works with the help of pneumatic double acting cylinder. The piston is connected to the moving cutting bled. It is used to cut the small size of the sheet metal. The machine is portable in size, so easy transportable
The compressed air from the compressor is used as the force medium for this operation. There are pneumatic double acting cylinders, hand operated lever valve and MS cutting bled are used. The arm from the compressor enters to the flow control valve. The controlled air from the flow control valve enters to the hand lever valve. The function of solenoid valves all of air correct time interval. The 5/2 & 1/4′′ hand lever valve is used. In one position air enters to the cylinder and pushes the piston so that the cutting stroke is obtained. The next position air enters to the other side of cylinder and pusses the piston return back, so that the releasing stroke is obtained.

In our project is solenoid valve and control timing unit is used for automation. The sheet metal cutting machine works with the help of pneumatic double acting cylinder. The piston is connected to the moving cutting tool. It is used to cut the small size of sheet metal. The machine is portable in size, so easy transportable. BASIC PRINCIPAL
WORKING PRINCIPLE � � The compressed air from the compressor is used as the force medium for this operation. There are pneumatic double acting cylinders, hand operated lever valve and MS cutting bled are used. The arm from the compressor enters to the floe control Valve. The controlled air from the flow control valve enters to the hand lever valve. The 5/2 & 1/4′′ hand lever valve is used. In one position air enter to the cylinder and pusses the piston, so that the cutting stroke is obtained.
PNEUMATICS � � � Pneumatics is that branch of technology, which deals with the study and application of use of pressurized air to affect mechanical motion. “Pneumos” means “Air” and “Tics” means “Technology”. The compressed air is used as the working medium, normally at a pressure of 6 -8 bars(also can be extended up to 15 bar) and a maximum force up to 50 KN can be obtained. Pneumatics is used extensively in industry as well as in many everyday applications. It has many distinct advantages in terms of energy consumption, cost and safety. Pneumatic power is used in industry, where factory machines are commonly plumbed for compressed air (other compressed inert gases can also be used). Pneumatics also has applications in dentistry, construction, mining, and other areas.
