Plot summary Beauty and the beast is the 30 th full length animated motion Picture. It is based on the French fairy tale of the same name. The film tells a story of a prince who transformed into a Beast. He was a lonely beast curst by a mysteries spell and a young women named belle whom he imprisons in his castle, she was a beautiful young girl who could sett him and his kingdom free, they were completely opposite, to become a prince again, beast must win her love in return other wise he remains a monster forever.

Economy & awards Budget $25, 000 The film was a box office success, earning over $424 million world wide. Beauty and the beast received positive views and it was nominated for several awards, it won the golden globe award for best motion picture, with two other awards for its Music. Beauty and the beast was the first animated film to be nominated for the academy award for best picture.
Technical music Beauty and the beast received a total of six nominations, including best picture, best original score, best sound and three nominations for its song. Most of the production was done at the main feature animation studio, housed in the air way facility in Glendale, California. Beauty and the beast was the second film produced using CAPS (Computer Animation Production System), a digital scanning, ink, paint, and composting system of software and hardware developed for Disney by Pixar.
Technical drawing CAPS allowed easier combination of hand drawing art with computer generated imagery. CAPS was a collection of software programs and scanning systems that computerized the traditional ink-and-paint animation process.
