Accelerated Math 7 is aligned to the California Common Core State Standards. Students are expected to develop a working knowledge of mathematical ideas and comprehend concepts through the discovery of patterns. Concepts will be introduced by a combination of student investigations & direct instruction. By the end of the course students will have an in-depth understanding of topics related to Ratios & Proportions, The Number System, Expressions & Equations, Geometry, Statistics & Probability. Homework Policies: *Homework will be posted on google classroom. *Homework should be uploaded via google classroom on Fridays and will be graded on completion. *�ALL work will be due by the Chapter test. Each trimester, students are expected to maintain a C or higher. A student earning a grade below a C, may be moved to Math 7.
