Research Specific Organizers: � When writing a research paper, things must be organized with detail. › As a general rule, each page of an outline will equal about one page of writing. �You should have a 3 -5 page outline.

1) Prewriting = Research: � Not ALL ideas do not come from your brain, as they do in creative writing. � Your opinion and thoughts are supported by research in this style of writing.

2) Outlining/Drafting: � Your research journals assist with drafting. � Your outline leads to a rough draft. › Many need to add to their outline.
