What should you expect? � � � You will master the art of creating an awesome thesis statement. You will master the art of organizing your thoughts and ideas into cohesive, well written essays. You will master the art of writing different types of essays. You will master the art of documenting sources and using them correctly. You will master the art of being confident in your writing.

What do I expect from you? I expect you to keep an open mind

What do I expect from you? I expect you to keep an open mind and listen to what I have to offer. (this isn’t my first year in the classroom) I expect you to act like young adults on their way to the next step in their lives. (you’ve been in school for 12 years—you know what to do) I expect you to do your very best you can do on a daily basis. (I know this may change from time to time—we all have our days)

Not only will you be able to write for your college English courses but for all other courses you will have to write essays. You will know the proper way to cite sources and give credit where credit is due when using resources for research, etc.
