Playing Baseball and Softball with COVID-19 Pandemic
§ Fees will be the same as past two seasons. $40 – 4 -year-old Program, $75 T-ball and Control Pitch. $125 for umpired kid pitch softball and baseball leagues § Online registration will be available as always. § We will also provide with some in-person registration dates in the Winter § Participants and coaches MUST sign a waiver to participate. Form will be part of the online registration process. § League age groups may be adjusted slightly. Goal is to leave age groups as is, but some tweaks may be necessary to balance out the number of teams per age group.
§ Coaches are required to wear masks at all times. A league provided touchless § § § thermometer will be provided for temperature checks of all participants at the beginning of practice. If you have a temperature of 100. 4 or greater you will be sent home Teams will be provided some sanitizer as well for hands during practice Players must provide all of their own equipment. Your own equipment will include your own bats, glove, and helmet. There will be an opportunity to check out some equipment from ROSL if there are special circumstances. Players will be required to wear masks at all times. Drills should be designed with social distancing. Practice balls will need to be rotated out during the course of practice. Head coaches will be required to take a mandatory training class prior to the season. Training will involve safety protocols as well as socially distanced drill ideas Parents please help out at practices if coaches ask. This will be necessary to facilitate safety for all.

Temperature of 100. 4 or higher will be sent home § Teams will designate a coach to ensure equipment is not shared § Dugout areas will be expanded to help with distancing. Many of the bleachers at our parks will be used for the players so parents are encouraged to bring their own seating § Families will be asked to socially distance themselves when watching the games § The game itself should be what you are used to seeing other than the changing out of baseballs during the course of the game § WE WILL ALL NEED TO WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS A GREAT EXPERIENCE
