Pros • Eyelid lifts improve people’s sight. • A “nose job” can improve a person’s breathing. • Breast reductive surgery can improve a person’s posture and remove back pain. • Plastic surgery is able to remove excess skin after a massive weight loss. • The appearance improvements give people social confidence.
Cons • Physical cons include infection, nerve damage, paralysis, blood clots, and hemorrhaging. • Infection and blood clots can lead to death. Nerve damage can leave permanent physical damage. • Risk of being on anesthesia. • Cost of surgery can be anywhere from $5, 000 to $30, 000. • Possible unsatisfaction with the outcome.
