Yes it can. Tiny fibres can come off it in the wash and get into the sea.

Yes single use plastic is banned in lots of places : ) Woo hoo!

How much % of plastic is microplastics ? 1 to 14 % 15 to 31 % 32 to 50%

15 to 30 % is the answer. That’s too much!

What do you think it will be like in 2050 if we don’t stop ? op Bad Cool

They are very similar to microplastics (see page 3 ) and very bad. You used to be able to find them in things like toothpaste. They are banned here now though. Hurrah

Is it bad that if we don’t stop by 2050 (30 years) there will be more plastic by weight than fish!!!! Yes No

193 which is good. But bad so bad because it is still actually a massive problem. But good because it means more people are going to try and stop it.
