IN-PERSON LEARNING • Students must wear a mask • Students temperature checked upon arrival IF A STUDENT TEMPERATURE READS 100. 4 DEGREES OR MORE, THEY WILL HAVE TO STAY IN THE CAR AND RETURN HOME. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN UNTIL WE HAVE WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION FROM A HEALTH PROVIDER • Students will bring limited items to school • Students will have a plastic supply box to hold all individual supplies that will remain in desk • Recess and lunch will take place inside the classroom • IF A CHILD ARRIVES LATE (AFTER 8: 15 A. M. ) THE PARENT MUST WALK THE CHILD TO THE DOOR FOR TEMPERATURE CHECK

IN-SCHOOL LEARNING OPERATIONAL • Teachers will continue to teach virtually from the computer (home/classroom) if students come in-person • All students will continue to learn via the Teams Microsoft Platform in-person or virtual • Arrival/Dismissal Procedures created to reinforce social distancing • Outside and hallway signage to guide students to stay 6 feet a part • Breakfast/Lunch provided in the classrooms. GRADES KK-2 WILL HAVE AN A/B LUNCH SCHEDULE FOR SOME STUDENTS TO EAT AT THE TABLE AND OTHERS EAT IN OTHER AREAS IN THE CLASSROOM. • Desks as far a part as possible depending on number of students in classroom • Each classroom with have PPE resources: masks, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes • Isolation Room located in Computer Lab in case we have sick students • Restroom/handwashing schedules built into the school day – at least 4 -5 times a day • Custodial cleaning schedule where handrails, door handles, sinks, and restrooms are cleaned hourly • WATER FOUNTAINS CANNOT BE USED. STUDENTS CAN BRING A WATER BOTTLE TO SCHOOL • ALL SUPPLIES AND COATS WILL BE STORED AT DESK. LOCKERS WILL NOT BE USED.

IN-SCHOOL LEARNING POSSIBILITY Students will keep their same teacher. However, …. Students may come into the building for inperson learning but their teacher may be at home teaching them remotely. Students will be in a classroom with headphone sets listening to their teacher teach them from home. A Teacher Assistant or School Staff Member will check on students regularly to ensure they are able to log on.

CAR RIDER LINE FOR ARRIVAL Parents will be assigned a Car Rider Number prior to school starting and it must be placed on your Rear Mirror We will use the same car rider line path we have always used for Arrival facing the West side of Young Parents may also park facing the East side of Young. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON TANGLEWOOD!!! Parents MUST remain in car Students MUST remain in the car until temperature is checked and Covid-19 questions are answered We will not start checking temperatures until 8: 00 A. M. IF A STUDENT TEMPERATURE READS 100. 4 DEGREES OR MORE, THEY WILL HAVE TO STAY IN THE CAR AND RETURN HOME. CAR RIDER LINE FOR DISMISSAL • Parents will line-up in Car Rider line facing the West side of Young with Car Rider number displayed on rear mirror • Parents MUST remain in car • Staff will call students on Walkie-talkies from classrooms to come to cars • Staff will be placed in the hallways and on the sidewalks to assist students to cars EARLY DISMISSAL WILL END AT 2: 30 P. M. STUDENTS WILL ONLY BE RELEASED FOR EARLY DISMISSAL FOR A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT OR EXTREME EMERGENCY. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO INFORM OF EALRY DISMISSAL FOR APPOINTMENTS PRIOR TO COMING TO THE SCHOOL. EMERGENCY DOES NOT INCLUDE: Parent will be late for work Parent must pick up sibling Parent does not want to wait in Car Rider Line
Y-CARE will send out registration information for parents next week and I will share the information via email to parents Y-CARE operation hours are from 6: 30 A. M. -8: 00 A. M. and 3: 00 P. M. 6: 00 P. M. Y-CARE will be held in the cafeteria
CAR RIDER/BUS RIDER Parents may pick-up Car Rider Number or Bus Card from the school December 16 -17 from 1: 00 P. M. 4: 00 P. M. Teachers will call next week to ask about your child’s transportation mode.
