Prep & SMC 5 Eagle BOR 6 Eagle COH Handbook Requirements: 1. Active in Troop/Patrol as Life Scout >= 6 Months 2. Demonstrate Scout Spirit and Duty to God 3. Earn 21 Merit Badges, including 13 Required 4. While Life Scout Serve >= 6 Months in Position(s) of Responsibility Participation Expectations Support from Assistant Scoutmaster Mentor and Eagle Advisor At least 6 mo; Inidividual maturity, Leadership readiness 12+ weeks 2

Plan for Eagle Phase 1: Readiness Purpose: • • Orient candidate & candidate’s parents on Eagle requirements, level of effort, available resources, etc. When candidate expresses readiness, demonstrates maturity, has a plan for Handbook Requirements, and ASM mentor agrees, assign an Eagle Advisor and proceed with project discernment.
