Dear Children… David Attenborough, David Attenborough Productions Ltd, 5 Park Road, Richmond, Surrey, TW 10 6 NS. Dear Children, My name is Sir David Attenborough. I am an enthusiastic naturalist and television broadcaster from the UK. I am writing to you, and many other schools in the Australia, for some help. As you may be aware, I have spent many years studying and broadcasting information about the natural world, in particular the creatures that inhabit it. It is my sincere hope that this has attempted to bring more knowledge and respect between the human race and the wonderful creatures we share this fine planet with. My concern is that, due to the heightened use of the Internet and gaming, many children today are not accessing the same information that will help us to preserve our habitats into the future. It is of the upmost importance that children today have a deep understanding of the positive impact that humankind can have on the partially deteriorated habitats of some creatures. I would like to propose that you might help me to open a successful zoo, which would hopefully attract children from all over the country.
