Dear learners. I hope that you and your families are well and safe. Mrs van Deijzen and I miss you all very much! Below I have given you some Term 2 work to complete. Study the notes and complete the short activities in your classwork books. Write the date, heading and number your work as indicated on the worksheets. On each slide you will see a little speaker, please click on it to listen to my audio explanations. Also please remember to get your information on your ‘SPORTSHELD’ (Sport hero) as discussed before we closed school. This will be due on the first day back at school. Remember you are just gathering the information and bringing it to school. We will sort through it and complete the actual tasks together at school. Your information can include your sport hero’s name, birthday, where they live, what sport they play, what team do they play for, any achievements etc. If you do not have your Afrikaans classwork book, I expect the work to be completed neatly on Exam pad pages which will then be stuck into your books when we return to school. All work will be checked and corrected on our return to school. Farewell for now! Be safe and use this time to be creative and productive! Ms Mark

Sometimes you will need to answer a question in the negative form. This is very simple. All you have to do is remember a few things: 1. Change the pronouns 2. ALWAYS start with “Nee…” 3. Swop the verb and the subject. So the subject will come immediately after “nee”. 4. The verb will be written after the subject. 5. And your first negative (nie) will be written after the verb. 6. Antwoord: Nee, die kinders speel nie tennis nie.
