Dear Grade 7 Learners. I hope that you and your families are well and safe. Below I have included more Term 2 activities for you to complete. Please ensure that you read the instructions and examples clearly. THINK about your answers and try to apply everything we have learnt thus far. Take note of any sections you are struggling with and I will be glad to assist you with them when we return to school. Please complete these activities in your classwork books and if you do not have your classwork books, you may do the activities neatly on exam pad pages. Write the date, heading and number your work as in the textbook, just like we do in class. You will notice a little speaker on each slide. Please click on it for audio explanations. Remember that all activities will be checked and marked on our return to school so please ensure that you complete all of them. Use this time to practice reading with understanding. ONDERWERP, VOORWERP EN GESEGDE In this lesson we will be looking at the parts of a simple sentence in the present tense. • ONDERWERP – SUBJECT (The person or thing doing the verb/ The person or thing we are talking about) • VOORWERP – OBJECT (The person or thing that receives the action of the verb) • GESEGDE – VERB (The doing word) Lets identify each part in the following sentence: (Die kat) (eet) (‘n vis. ) Onderwerp Gesegde Voorwerp
