Human Dignity • Human dignity refers to people’s self-respect and the pride they take

Human Dignity • Human dignity refers to people’s self-respect and the pride they take in who they are. • Having respect for someone’s human dignity is so important to South Africans that it has been included in the Constitution. • The Constitution says that the dignity of a person must be respected and protected. No one should be made to feel less important than anyone else just because of who they are. Slide 3
