Demographics • School Demographics: – Total number of students – 639 • 6 th grade – 213 • 7 th grade – 217 • 8 th grade – 209 *45% of our student population is school of choice. • Free and Reduced Lunch students: – 37% of student population • Seitz Middle School consists of 33 Teachers, 1 Social Worker, 1 Counselor, and 2 Administrators.

History of Pirate Pride Program • We are currently in our 4 th year of implementation of Tier 1 and 2 nd year of Tier 2. • PBIS Teams consist of 8 teachers, 1 Social Worker, 1 counselor, and 2 administrators.

Year 1 of Implementation • Introduction of entire Pirate Pride program to students, staff, and parents. – – – Behavior matrix Pirate Bucs Posters/Banners School-wide reward activities Behavior expectations lessons for students based on data collection – Gift basket drawings • End of the year staff and student surveys

Pirate Bucs!!! • By exhibiting positive behaviors from the matrix, students may earn Pirate Bucs to spend at the Pirate Pride Store.
