Core was grateful we proactively tracked stats at outset n It took awhile to get paid n e. Core > GHC > paycheck
+ 2 ND SEMESTER & BEYOND Refining our model
+ Student usage n More usage n n 112 transactions total Changes in behavior n Over half of contacts through discussion board posts n Other half consist of contact through D 2 L email (~30%) & chat (~20%)
+ Usage, continued
+ Challenges, changes, & next steps n Technical issues n n How can we do more? n Do we need to push for more librarians for fall? n Offer more office hours? n Coordinate with faculty? n JIT help for assignments? e. Core GALILEO instance vs. student GALILEO instance vs. D 2 L Marketing n Working with students n More involvement with instances of soft plagiarism n Students don’t want to receive direct emails n “Unsubscribe me!” GALILEO access remains a problem n n n Direct marketing to faculty? n “ 7 Minute Sizzle” on Garden of e. Core faculty course page?
