Ex. • Love is a power so strong that it leaves its marks long after that love has disappeared. In the wizarding world filled with magic JK Rowling makes it know that love is the strongest source of power even the darkest of wizards has no defense against the love that a mother has left her son. His mother’s love covers Harry like a suit of armor impenetrable by the hate that Voldemort tries to spread. Like the suit of armor love offers the characters protection, a family, a group of friends, a safe place in a hectic and unfriendly world. Harry finds all of these in Hogwarts and his friends in Gryffindor. Love permeates through all whole novel. Harry is protected by his mother’s love in a very literal sense when Voldemort cannot touch him but also the love of his community and friends within Hogwarts helps to shape him into the character he needs to be in order to defeat Voldemort.
