How a transformer works spot the mistakes ● An d. c. input (direct current) creates a strong magnetic field in the iron coil. ● The primary coil transfers the magnetic field to make it an electromagnet with a changing magnetic field. ● The strong magnetic field is now present in the second coil. ● This strong magnetic field creates a potential difference in the second coil. ● If this is connected to a external circuit, a current will grow. 2
