Objective: To illustrate your knowledge of physical features, the three main climate zones, and latitude and longitude by creating a construction paper foldable u Your foldable will have pictures, definitions, and locations of 12 physical features in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe u Your foldable will show the 3 different climate zones of the Middle East, Africa, and Europe u
Supplies Needed – – – – – One large piece of construction paper 1 ½ pieces of white computer paper Small scraps of construction paper Glue Markers Scissors Pencil Colored pencils Geography Alive textbook and/or Atlas
Directions: u First- Use resources to locate 12 different land water features in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe *hint- spread them out and find an equal number in each region u u Second- Write the names of these physical features down on the inside of small flaps of paper along with their latitude, longitude, and a definition and draw a picture on the front of the flap Third- Gather supplies Fourth-Make your foldable Fifth- Fill in the information

Expectations: u 12 small flaps – On the top of the flap u Name of physical feature u Number coordinating to map and where it is located – On the inside u Definition u Latitude and longitude u Colored picture
Expectations: u. Map – Colored as a climate zone map *hint-use latitude and longitude to make sure you are coloring in the right place! – Include 3 major climate zones u tropical, temperate, and polar – Include a key for colors and what they represent – Visible Numbers on the map that match with the specific location of the 12 physical features on the flaps above. – Draw and label the Equator, Arctic Circle, Tropic of Cancer, and Tropic of Capricorn
